PRL Cabin Rates

Here's the cabin info and rates from the Pine River Lodge website, but on one page. PLR's cabin photos are few, old, most very small and don't do justice to the cabins I saw. They graciously allowed us to check out a couple of the vacant cabins and I took pictures of course. I was really surprised by the interior compared to the outside of cabin #1. I have better larger photos of some cabins on my Pine River Lodge post.

3 Bedroom Cabins

#14 - This cozy three bedroom has a nice view of the lake and the playground. It has three queen beds with one and a half baths. Small living room and dining area.  The level entrance makes it easier for some of our guests. The deck has lots of room for sitting outside and taking in the views. (700 sq. ft.) Six persons - $177 daily, $1151 weekly.

#19 - Bob sold us this cabin and has always regretted it. BOBS PLACE is located in lots of trees that limit your view of the lake. It has a lovely window seat in the living room that's cozy for afternoon napping. The river rock fireplace adds the perfect atmosphere to cool evenings. Three queen bedrooms. BOBS PLACE comes equipped with one and three-quarter baths. (1015 sq. ft.) Six persons - $211 daily, $1372 weekly.

#27 - Would you believe that we babysat for the Hamiltons years ago. Who would have thought that you would be able to stay in THE HAMILTON? This unique cabin has an unbelievable wrap around covered porch with a heavily treed lake view. The main floor has a river rock fireplace in the open kitchen / dining / living room and a bedroom (queen) and full bath. The second floor has two bedrooms (queens) and one full bath. (1030 sq. ft.) Six persons - $232 daily, $1508 weekly.

#30 - Mom (Ermalee) saved this building site for years until we could build the right cabin for its location. The covered porch has the best view you could ask for. The open dining/kitchen/living room, complete with cathedral ceiling has a moss rock fireplace. A bedroom (queen) and full bath complete the main floor. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms (queen) and a full bath. No smoking or pets. (1092 sq. ft.) Six persons - $249 daily, $1619 weekly.

#12 - Our newest and most spectacular cabin! It sits back on the mountain and the view is awesome! Like #30, the main level has one bedroom with a queen bed, full bath, open dining/kitchen/living room with a cathedral ceiling, rock fireplace, and a large covered porch. The first floor is handicap accessible in the summer. The upstairs has two bedrooms (queen beds) and another full bath. No smoking and/or pets. (1196 sq. ft.) Six persons - $259 daily, $1684 weekly.

#1 - This spacious two story cabin has a rock fireplace and nice views toward the lake. The living room and kitchen are open which is nice for large groups. One king and one queen bedroom and one and a half baths complete the downstairs. Attic stairs lead you to the sleeping room upstairs which has three doubles and one twin. A short walk to the pool, playground and game room. (1326 sq. ft.) Ten persons - $270 daily, $1755 weekly.

#22 - This was our former home and was built by us when we arrived at Pine River Lodge in 1960. This cabin is located close to the office and boasts a large patio with a grassy lawn (daddy would never believe that we planted grass). The main floor has a rock fireplace in the living room, kitchen/dining room, one king and one queen bedroom and a full bath. Up the attic stairs you will find three doubles and a half bath in a sleeping room. (1326 sq. ft.) Ten persons - $270 daily, $1755 weekly.

2 Bedroom Cabins

#3-9 - These compact cabins are identical with two queen bedrooms and a kitchen/dining combo with a couch. Beautiful view from the kitchen table. Relax on the patio or walk to the pool, playground, or game room. (394 sq. ft.) Four persons - $124 daily, $806 weekly.

#2 - We call this THE PENTHOUSE since it is on the top floor of our main building with a large deck. Did we mention two flights of stairs? It is very quiet and roomy. Both bedrooms have queens and the living room/dining area has a free standing fireplace and windows, windows, windows! The pool is just downstairs. (654 sq. ft.) Four persons - $145 daily, $943 weekly.

#20 & #21 - As close to the water as you can get. These two cabins have queens in the two bedrooms, a small kitchen/dining/living room and decks with an unbelievable view. (480 sq. ft.) Four persons - $159 daily, $1034 weekly.

#10 - This cabin is one of our top hits. Both bedrooms have queens and did we mention that there are two full baths (perfect for families with teenage daughters). The living room has a freestanding fireplace and the deck has a spectacular view. (730 sq. ft.) Four persons - $167 daily, $1086 weekly.

#24 - The previous owners thought this was PARADISE and we agree. This cozy lake front (200' up from waters edge) cabin has a large deck overlooking the lake. The living room has a river rock fireplace and the two small bedrooms have a queen & double. (640 sq. ft.) Four persons - $178 daily, $1157 weekly.

#25 - SHORT STOP is a lake front cabin (200' up from waters edge) with a screened in porch. The large living room boasts a brick fireplace with lots of seating on the two couches. The small bedrooms have a queen and double. The picnic table offers outdoor dining under a huge pine tree. (640 sq. ft.) Four persons - $178 daily, $1157 weekly.

#31 - Large open living/kitchen area with a brick fireplace and a sleeper couch. You will find two bedrooms with queen and king beds. This cabin also features 1 & ¾ baths. The covered porch has a lovely lake view. This cabin has a level entry, lots of parking, and sits close to the road. (960 sq. ft.) Four persons - $192 daily, $1248 weekly.

#26 - Named after our late father, Don's Cabin is roomy, has a contrast of old and new and a beautiful covered porch. Tall men beware, the living room has a low beam sure to keep you off your toes! This cabin boasts two and a half baths and two king beds in the large bedrooms. Both bedrooms and full baths are on the second floor. There is a rock fireplace in the living room. No smoking or pets. (1120 sq. ft.) Four persons - $206 daily, $1339 weekly.

1 Bedroom Cabins

#11 - Commonly referred to as the "honeymoon" cabin, you won't have enough room to have disagreements. Cozy one room cabin with double bed, tiny bath with shower, kitchen and a small porch. Small is the understatement. (154 sq. ft.) Two persons - $78 daily, $507 weekly.

#16 & #17 - You won't find a more awesome view from these decks. Charming older cabins with one queen bed, small living area, kitchen and deck. (256 sq. ft.) Two persons - $94 daily, $611 weekly.

#18 - Located in the trees this cabin is completely paneled in spruce. Small bedroom with queen bed, small kitchen/living room with sleeper couch. Spend some time relaxing on the deck. (320 sq. ft.) Two persons - $107 daily, $696 weekly.

#23 - This is the original homestead of Vallecito Lake. Of course, its location has changed. Rustic one room log cabin with rock fireplace. Did we mention that this is a one room cabin which has a king bed, kitchen and dining area. Perfect for the cozy couple. Sit under the trees and enjoy the view. (460 sq. ft.) Two persons - $117 daily, $761 weekly.

#15 - This lovely cabin is paneled in aspen (queen bed) and has a nice view of the lake from the living room windows. Build a fire in the rock fireplace for cozy evenings. Sit outside under the trees and watch the boats come and go on the lake. (400 sq. ft.) Two persons - $124 daily, $806 weekly.

#28 - When sitting on the large screened porch you will feel like you are in a TREE HOUSE. This lakefront cabin (200' up from waters edge) has a living/dining area with a river rock fireplace. The tiny bedroom boasts a queen bed. (480 sq. ft.) Two persons - $133 daily, $865 weekly.
